Connect a Bluetooth Temp Probe for Task Manager

Connect a Bluetooth temperature probe to your Android mobile device for Task Manager.
NOTE
Home screens may look different based on your Android mobile device.
1. Prepare Temperature Probe
1. Ensure the temp probe is fully charged or has fresh batteries installed.
2. Go to step 1 of the Connect ThermoWorks Bluetooth Temperature Probe to Device section and identify your temp probe model that you want to turn on, see Connect Bluetooth Temperature Probe.
2. Turn on Bluetooth for Android Mobile Device
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap Connections or Bluetooth (depending on device manufacturer).
3. Tap the Bluetooth toggle to turn on.
3. Pair Temperature Probe with Android Mobile Device
1. Tap Scan or Pair new device to search for available devices (depending on device manufacturer).
2. Locate the brand name or model number of the temperature probe.
3. Tap Pair.
4. Once connected, the temp probe will display under Paired devices.
4. Log in to Task Manager
1. Go to the Task Manager app on your Android mobile device, see Get the Task Manager App on Your Tablet
2. Log in to the Task Manager admin dashboard in the United States at taskmanager.us.ncco.com, or in Europe at taskmanager.ncco.com.
3. Click on the Resources tab on the sidebar.
4. Click on Thermometers.
5. Click on Create/Edit.
6. Enter the Thermometer Name and Reference Number located on the temp probe as the serial number. Click Add Thermometer.
NOTE
Select a single venue scope to add a thermometer automatically.
7. Click on Manage.
8. Select the Venue Scope to assign a temp probe to a venue.
9. Press the green + button to add that thermometer to the desired venue.
5. Test the Connection
1. Log out of the Task Manager admin dashboard and log in to the Task Manager app again.
2. Select your venue and tap Go To Venue to go to your staff view.
3. Tap on Forms.

4. Select a form with a temperature field.
5. Two notification messages at the bottom of the screen will appear if the temp probe is paired.

6. Select the Thermometer.
7. Confirm the temp probe is turned on and push the power button on the temp probe to transmit the temperature reading to the field selected.
8. If the reading is not displaying, restart the temp probe and your Android mobile device, then try reconnecting.
Troubleshooting Tips
- Confirm Bluetooth is turned on and not connected to another mobile device.
- Move closer to the temp probe to ensure a strong connection.
- Reset the temp probe by turning it off and on again.
- Restart your Android mobile device and try pairing again.
- Check that your Android mobile device is updated in the settings.
