Allowed to Download Updates Permission
Allowed to Download Updates is an app permission that gives managers and users the ability to update and sync to the most latest version of the DateCodeGenie® app to print the correct data from your portal. There are three ways to download updates on the app. See How to Download Updates on the App
When this permission is turned on, the "Download Updates” option will appear within the Manage section of the Navigation Options on the app.
NOTES
- The device must be connected to internet via Wi-Fi or ethernet to download updates. See How To Connect The Device To Wi-Fi or How to Connect the Device to Ethernet
- If an app error code displayed on a device indicating a problem connecting to the server, caused by weak internet connection or server error. See Problem Downloading Updates (Error 7)
- If an app error code displayed on a device indicating the app needs to be updated. See App Needs Update (Error 100x10)
User type permissions can be changed by Portal Administrators under the Users tab in the portal. See How to Update Permissions.
