Portal administrators and DateCodeGenie® managers with portal access can customize and export temperature probe reports in the portal.

Use reports to view the temperature range of menu items, displayed in Fahrenheit and Celcius. Advise staff of the desired temperature of each menu item based on filters set to inform your business decisions better.

Steps:

1. Login to www.datecodegenie.com using the recommended browser, see What Internet Browser Should I Use to Access My DateCodeGenie® Portal?

2. Click on the Temperature Probe tab on the sidebar.

3. View the Temperature Probe Log table, which contains the action requirements for the temperature of each menu item needed. The log is synced from the app into the portal.

4. Click the Complete button to mark the action required as complete under the Action Completed column.

5. Adjust the filters on the top of the page to set up the Temperature Probe Log report as needed.

6. Click the Select Columns button and check which columns to display in the report. Click Select.

TIPS & TRICKS

Use the image of the log page below to help decide which columns to display.

  1. Location: In the drop-down menu select one or all locations in your portal.

8. Click Export to generate the report.

9. Click the downloaded file in the bottom left corner of the browser to open the CSV file.

10. The report will open in a CSV file with the columns selected in Step 4. Click the Enable Editing button in the yellow ribbon to allow editing of the report.
