Set Up App Using Location Join Code

Set up the app using location join code and login, see Send a Join Code to a User
Requirements:
- Portal set up with join code enabled. Contact us, see Contact & Support
- A location must be added to your portal. See Manage Locations
Steps:
1. Tap the Date Code Genie app on the home screen to open.
2. Tap the Login Using Location Join Code.
3. Enter an email and password based on the user type setup provided below.
Set up App as a Portal Administrator or Manager
1. Use the portal administrator's or manager's email and password set up in the portal to login to the app. See Manage Staff
2. Select the location from the dropdown arrow.
3. Enter the device’s serial number.
4.Tap Login.
5. The device will then be assigned to the location and the app will download data for that location.
Set up App as a User with Join Code
1. Set up a user in the portal with an email and password. See Manage Staff
2. Use the user’s email and password to login to the app.
3. Enter the join code from a location in the portal. See Send a Join Code to a User
4. Enter the serial number.
5. Tap Login.
6. The device will then be assigned to the location and the app will download data for that location.
