Allowed to Add Ad-Hoc Items Permission

Allowed to add ad-hoc items is an app permission that gives the ability to add new menu items and prep lists to the app only.
WARNING
Any ad-hoc items added directly onto the app will not back up in the portal.
When this permission is turned on, the “Create New Menu Item” button will appear on the main body of the app dashboard, and the "Create New Prep List" button will appear in the main body under Prep Lists. The red triangle with a circle icon indicates which menu items are ad-hoc.
TIPS & TRICKS
It is recommended to have this permission turned off since best practice is to store your menu item data in the portal so it is backed up.
