Issues Printing Labels with Profiles Using Green Bars
Older design technology, often referred to as "Green Bar" profiles are no longer able to keep up with the added flexibility and continued customization of the layout designer. Due to continued software advancements, certain green bar features may no longer print on your labels as previously printed. Converting a green bar profile or creating a new profile using layout designer meets all your printing needs with advanced design capabilities.
"Have I set default printer profiles in my categories, menu items, locations or prep lists?" Your answer to this question will determine the best way to upgrade to layout designer.

NOTERemember to delete the old printer profile (green bars) from the printer profile tab. |
Steps to Convert:
1. Locate the printer profile and click the pencil to edit.
2. Scroll to the Printer Label Lines section near the bottom and click on the words, Try out the new Layout Designer to convert.
TIPS & TRICKS
Write a list of each green bar feature to be sure you have all the features added in the converted profile.
3. Remove every feature appearing in the label preview section after conversion.
NOTE
Not removing features after conversion can affect customization options for some features.
