How to Set Temperature Thresholds for Sensors
Temperature needs can vary throughout the day, and setting thresholds that account for these changes ensures accurate monitoring and alerts. This guide will walk you through how to customize both the temperature thresholds and the time periods for your sensors, allowing you to create settings that align with the natural temperature fluctuations in your environment. Whether you're managing daily cycles or unique timing requirements, these steps will help you configure your sensors to suit your needs.
Steps:
1. In the Admin Portal of Task Manager, click on Resources.
2. Click on Fridges.
3. Click on Monitoring.
4. Click on Configure.
5. Click on Create New Profile.
6. Type the Fridge/Freezer Profile name. For example: "Fridge 2"
7. Type the time you'd want the temperature threshold set for.
8. Type the temperature threshold.
9. Click on Add Time.
10. Type the end time you'd want the temperature threshold set for.
11. Type the temperature.
12. Click on Save.
13. Click on Select to add that profile to your sensor.
