How to Update Quick Support App with TeamViewer
Quick Support is an app that comes preinstalled on a DateCodeGenie device that allows NCCO Technical Support to remotely access your device to troubleshoot or train when permission is granted. The app may require an update to be used for remote access.
If your company has an account for TeamViewer software, you may have access to remote into your DateCodeGenie devices.
Steps:
Quick Support App Update
1. Tap QuickSupport to open.
2. The app will prompt you to download the QuickSupport add-on, and tap INSTALL.
3. The tablet will ask for permission to allow QuickSupport to install apps from unknown sources. Tap the toggle switch to turn on to allow, then tap the back arrow in the upper-left hand corner to confirm.
4. The app will prompt again to install the add-on, and tap INSTALL.
NOTE
If the Quick Support app does not prompt you to install the add-on, you will need to close the app and reopen it to see the prompt.
5. The tablet will ask to Allow QuickSupport to access this device's location, tap the option, “While Using the app”.
6. The app will generate Your ID that can be verbally given to the person asking to remote into your device.
TeamViewer Software Access
1. Start the TeamViewer software program from your computer.
2. Highlight the Remote Control Tab and enter the Partner ID from the QuickSupport app and click the connect button.
3. Instruct the person at the device to tap ALLOW to to gain remote access to the device.
4. You will see the device screen and have remote access.
